Morel Elate Carbon 63A - 6.5" 3-Way Active Component Speakers
The Elate Carbon shares most of its high-end componentry with its Pro siblings, yet takes a slightly more sensible approach. These 2-way and 3-way systems were designed for those who want the ultimate performance but are looking for a discreet tweeter.
The compact design of the MT450 tweeter allows users the option to place the speaker in most factory locations, or into space-limited areas using the supplied mounts. It may be small in size, but the MT450’s™ Acuflex coated silk dome, open cavity design and dual neodymium magnet motor give it amazing detail and a silky-smooth, flat frequency response.
All Elate Carbon 3-way systems receive the all new MM3 3.5” cone midrange.
This small midrange uses the best of Morel’s™ technology, including EVC motor, high power 2.1” diameter voice coil, and highly damped carbon- fiber/Rohacell cone, allowing it to play lower in frequency and with greater control than most 4.5”€ speakers.
It also handles some serious power. These attributes drastically improve system performance while enabling them to fit in most factory midrange locations.
